Chris Callen the hard-core publisher of the Cycle Source Magazine has been flown on a private jet (more than once) to discuss Maxim Magazine's take-over bid by UK's Dennis Publications. Maxim is positioning themselves within the best and original demographics in the United States: the Biker. While other biker magazines sales have declined, Cycle Source's readership continues to soar due to its real-deal-grass-roots dedication to the motorcycle public. Whether Chris Callen excepts the 7 digit bid is anyone's guess, but one thing's for sure: someone on Maxim's payroll deserves a bonus.
